  • Navigating the Fee Schedule

    Atkins David Smith partner Jennifer Smith recently gave a presentation to Judges, attorneys, and other members of the Worker’s Compensation Section of the Atlanta Bar Association on “Navigating the Fee Schedule.”  With co-presenter Karen Lowell from Gerber & Elkins, Jennifer discussed important aspects of the fee schedule including how attorneys can utilize it to project future medical costs in their cases as well as Board rules on medical bill payments and disputes.  The presentation was very well received and interactive, resulting in an informed discussion about some of the common pitfalls attorneys and providers alike run into while navigating the fee schedule.
